Chalky, our 11 year old dog, would like to offer a warm welcome to all well-behaved pets!
To date he has welcomed many dogs, a few cats, a snake or two, a brace of hawks and a Peregrine Falcon!
Chalky came to us from Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, a charity that provides assistance dogs to deaf people. Unfortunatley he failed their training course (or as they like to say, he is a Fallen Angel!). He is about 11 years old, and has his day bed in Reception and is happy to check all arrivals out! He is also equally happy if you are not a dog fan and will leave you alone.
We make no charge for pets, but ask that you bring suitable bedding for them., and that you do not leave them unattended in your bedroom. Unfortunately while pets are allowed in the bar, we do ask that your pet stays out of the Restaurant and breakfast room. Needless to say assistance dogs are welcome througout the building.
Should you need it we can supply you with bowls.
You are welcome to let your dogs use our gardens, but we do ask that you clear up any deposits that they make! Please contact reception if you would like a supply of bags to use, and we can dispose of them for you. Attleborough Decoy Common is a few minutes walk up the road, which has waste bins and a number of fields, which are enclosed to allow you to let your dog roam if it suits.
